Cryogenic Quartz Crystal Microbalances
Specifications
QCM Research has an extensive line of Cryogenic Surface Film Sensors (CQCMs) available. Although these sensors were developed for use at very low temperatures (< 10 K) many customers have found that their very small size and excellent thermal properties make them ideal for higher temperature applications as well. So well, in fact, that at the present the MK17 and MK18 CQCMs have become the most popular high temperature (> 77 K) QCMs available.

Cryogenic Quartz Crystal Microbalances
Specifications
The Mark 21 QCM is based on the award winning Mark 8 QCM design. If you have been a long-time customer of ours, you may recall that in 1975 QCM won an award for One of the 100 Most - Significant New Technical Products of the Year for a small QCM known as the MK8 QCM. The MK21 is a long awaited update to that excellent design using today's technology. As is the case with the Mark 20 TQCM, the Mark 21 is available in a wide variety of frequencies; 10, 15, 25, and 50 MHz (other frequencies available upon request) It is quite small (0.44" dia.) and light (4.7 grams). Unlike it's larger siblings the TQCMs, it is passively cooled and requires a coolant to lower the temperature.
