MK20
Thermoelectric Quartz Crystal Microbalance
Specifications
We think that you will agree that the MK20 is quite an improvement on the old industry standard, our MK10. The new unit is quite small; it weighs in at just 20 grams, compared to 120 grams for the MK10. We have done this by using both the advanced crystal pack design now found in our cryogenic QCMs, coupled with smaller and more efficient peltier heat exchangers.

Thermoelectric Quartz Crystal Microbalance
Specifications
By cooling the 3, 5, 10, 15, 25 or 50MHz quartz crystals, measurements can be made of the mass flow as it intercepts and is condensed at a specific temperature. Like all TQCMs, the MK24 can be cooled by its own internal thermoelectric Peltier element without any external refrigerant, with a delta T of > 64C when the heat sink is at ambient temperature. Because it is so small, light and hearty, the MK24 TQCM is especially well adapted to use on satellites.

Thermoelectric Quartz Crystal Microbalance
Specifications
The Mark 10 Thermoelectric Quartz Crystal Microbalance (MK10 TQCMTM) has become the defacto industry standard TQCM since being introduced over 10 years ago. At the moment, there are over 25 of them in operation in space. By cooling the 10 or 15MHz quartz crystals, measurements can be made of the mass flow as it intercepts and is condensed at a specific temperature.
